Homemade Dill Pickles Recipe

Ingredients

500g small cucumbers 120g vinegar 250g water 1 clove crushed garlic 1 tsp salt bunch of dill 2 pint mason jars

Instructions

  • heat water, vinegar and salt together to medium heat, remove from heat
  • crush garlic and divide between two jars
  • pull dill sprigs and place at bottom of jars
  • clean and quarter cucumbers
  • place cucumbers in jar (the size should fit and hold them beneath the top waterline)
  • add dill sprigs on top of cucumbers
  • pour vinegar/water over the mixture to top of jar, submerging cucumbers and dill
  • chill in fridge for 6 hours
